After months of being told to get into the "old" Skrillex stuff and slogging through countless boring hours of Skyrim, I've come to a conclusion: left to my own devices, I can be a pervasively negative young man in what can sometimes feel like a cultural golden age. My goal for this summer is, over the course of ten weeks, to right this course of uncut Haterade and open myself up to some things that I know my friends love.
Each week, I will post a topic here, tweet it, and also put up a Facebook status about it. Next, I'd like my insanely small readership to respond with the best "jumping on" points for that particular piece, be it a best book, film, or LP.
I will report back the following Monday with an essay of impressions and the next topic. READ IT.
Week 1 concerns a musician/comedian that, God help me, I just don't fucking get. Ladies, gentlemen, please make sense of REGGIE WATTS for me.
